Have you done any work that is mediated via an online platform or mobile app? For instance, have you used a rideshare platform for driving (e.g. Bolt, Uber), delivered food or offered any other services via online platforms (e.g. GoWorkaBit, Wolt)? We are inviting you to participate in our study that explores the impact of COVID-19 on platform work in Estonia.
The survey is part of the project 'Cities, Work and Digital Platforms' supported by the Tallinn University Research Fund. The survey was designed by researchers from both Tallinn University and Tallinn University of Technology: Kaire Holts, Arto Lanamäki, Margaret Pulk, Triin Roosalu and Tauri Tuvikene. The survey can be completed either in Estonian, English or Russian, and it takes approximately 10 minutes of your time. In order to participate in the study, you need to be over 16 and living in Estonia. Your answers will be submitted once you select the 'submit' button at the end of the survey.
Your data will be anonymised, kept securely and only published in a way that excludes the possibility of identifying you. Access to data will be restricted to members of the research team. No data will be disclosed to third parties. If you would like further information or have any questions, please get in touch by email (mpulk@tlu.ee) or visit our website Cities, Work and Digital Platforms.
As part of our project, we would like to interview a selection of participants on their experience with platform-mediated work in Estonia. Should you wish to participate in this research then please contact us by email (mpulk@tlu.ee) or leave your contact details at the end of the survey, and we will get in touch with you. It is a one-time interview that lasts for approximately one hour.
Thank you!
